In 1995, Hanna-Barbera Classics, Inc. produced a 5-volume set of character reference
guides for a number of its "classic" cartoon creations. Included in the set are
volumes on "The Flintstones," "The Jetsons," "Scooby-Doo" and "Jonny Quest." While
the 4 non-JQ books are chock-full o' data, trivia and other nuggets that fans will
find quite enjoyable, the JQ volume (the slimmest of the lot at 85 pages) suffers
					by comparison.

The volumes include detailed character descriptions ("Vital Statistics") of all
main characters and a number of supporting characters; that is, they all do except
the JQ volume, which only has a description of Jonny's character, with mere "character
summaries" for the rest of the cast and guests.

One might forgive this fundamental oversight, but the rest of the volume continues
to disappoint. The pages are littered with mistakes both large and small; mistakes
which will be almost immediately caught by the true classic JQ fan.

For a detailed listing of the many errors, read
					the errata page.
These have been forwarded to the publisher; it is not expected to have any effect,
but I felt better after having done it!
